I’m an Australian sales coach and former remote tech salesman who built a lifestyle that most men only dream about. These days I split time between Latin America and Southeast Asia. As We Get To Know Each Other… You’ll Quickly Realize That I’m The Luckiest Person On Earth - So Let’s Talk About Where I Was On December 15th, 2018
I was 28 and living in Melbourne, Australia

I had just shut down an unfulfilling marketing business that nearly broke me after 3.5 years of 70-80 hour weeks.

I had no more savings.

I had no sense of direction.

I had lost my confidence (which affected my relationships and social life).

I had to work in a telemarketing call center to make ends meet…

All of this meant I couldn’t enjoy life, and I sure as hell couldn’t build the kind of income, confidence, and relationships I wanted.

Stuck to a desk, very low social status, low self-worth, and I was stuck working in Melbourne, Australia (soon to be the most “locked-down”, anti-free speech and restricted western city in the world)...

I was back working a truly depressing 9-5 for minimum wage and had suppressed my true masculine potential in life.

Fast forward 5 years, a Melbourne-lockdown, multiple sales roles, and many investments to get my life and digital nomad career back...

I realized there were 2 myths destroying modern men:

1. “If you just work harder and keep doing the right things a “good guy” would do, then you’ll eventually be fairly successful.”

2... “You need to be as charismatic and attractive as the rich and famous to have high confidence or an amazing variation of relationships.”

… Yeah. No. Doesn’t work like that!

And if you want to live an exciting, masculine, wealthy, and magnetic life - focusing on your looks and being the “good but hard-working guy” is almost never the answer...

I know, because I tried.

I gave it everything I had.

I gave it my BEST shot.

And it didn’t work.

I played by the traditional “nice guy” rules and I did everything right…

And although my life LOOKED so much better on the surface... More physically fit, making money remotely, traveling a little, a little more social, and after investing into expensive mentors:
...even with this HUGE transformation on the surface…
I still ended up with:
  An unremarkable income

  Unfulfilling relationship options
  More nice-guy behavioural traits than ever before

  I felt low-status
And I had an inner resentment building up that I was too scared to say out loud…
I hated it because deep down - I knew I had what it takes to win.

But I clearly didn’t have the right systems.

No model for my specific circumstances.

No guidance to follow.

I had goals, dreams and aspirations...I wanted more out of life...

...and dragging myself through more sales calls and the same self-help methods, while faking my confidence just to seem “normal”... this wasn't going to cut it.

So I did what everyone else out there does in this situation.

I started looking for a way out.

I looked everywhere and a a few months later I found it by accident.

I stumbled into a community of successful, 100% commission-based sales guys. Tucked inside another personal development course I paid way too much for. (It sucked, by the way.)

On sales calls closing multi-5-figure deals, switching on a charismatic persona in my calls, but reverting back to my “self-help nice guy” ways outside of work.

I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t connected the dots… to deliberately apply my sales and marketing skills into my personal life.

And as I researched more and more I found that most of these salesmen were just like me.

- They also used to be overly nice.
- They were deep into the self-help world.
- They had ambition but no structure.
- They were shy, strategic, but sick of pretending.

The only difference was - they seemed to have naturally embodied their advanced sales training and communication mastery directly into their social life and side-incomes.
